I like to hunt, fish, work on my computer and work outside around the house. And when I'm not doing any of those, I'm spending time with my family. And actually I'm with them doing most of those. LOL

I like to watch Real Tree Roadtrips w/ Michael Waddell, Gettin' Close w/ Lee & Tiffany, Archer's Choice w/ Ralph & Vicki. Also enjoy shows on the Food Network like the food challenges, Secret Life of, Unwrapped just to name a few. I'm not really into the realality shows, but have watched Hell's Kitchen, Big Brother (this season sucks), America's Next Top Model and a few others.

My biggest hero is my dad. He was the best. I miss him so much. He was a Vietnam Vet and never talked about it. Never forget our Vets, even if they aren't from a current "event". They are just as important as any other.
He helped us out when we asked, if he could. I Love you Dad and miss you very much!!
My mom is a big hero too. She never gave up after dad passed. She has shown me that we may have big mountains to climb, but one day we will get to the top and conquer that mountain. Life will always throw you curve balls but you have to hit them full force and knock them out of the park. I Love you mom!!

wolverhunter I had a chance at a nice buck, but some stupid loud truck driver who doesn't know how to drive quietly spooked him off. Good side, I still have a chance at Captain Hook.

Hello, I'm Michelle. I got into hunting a little differently then alot of others.
One day my husband's buddy shot a buck and needed help locating it. So I tagged along with camcorder in hand. As I stood near the treestand, waiting on them to reappear, a doe and her twins walked up on me. Standing as still as I could, I realized I had the camcorder in my hands. I took loads of pics and lots of video, as they ate and played in front of me.
As I watched them walk off, I finally took a breathe. Then I thought that if I can get this close to them in street clothes and a camcorder then I can get that close in camo and a crossbow.
That fall I downloaded all the hunting ed stuff I needed, studied, and in Novemember I took my hunters test and passed only missing one. I've been hunting ever since. When I can sit long enough, I enjoy my time out in the woods. I love it out there. This spring, my husband took me on my first turkey hunt too. It was so cool to hear them in the distance gobble at ya. I will be trying that again!
