ABOUT ME
My name is Kevin Ray & I am from southern Ohio. I work as a hunting guide & also book some hunts for a few awesome whitetail outfitters. I enjoy everything about the outdoors but I am obsessed with bow hunting & filming trophy whitetails. From late September to late January I can usually be found about 20 feet up a tree. I hunt with a small group of family & friends & we expect to have a couple of youngsters joining the group this year. We are very fortunate to have several great properties here in southern Ohio to hunt. We manage our properties & our deer herd year round. We know the hard work, time & dedication it takes to properly manage your land & herd & understand the importance of doing so. We are constantly working to improve the health of our deer & their habitat. Whether its planting food plots, putting out feeders, making homemade mineral licks, setting up & checking trailcams, setting treestands, or scouting & monitering our deer herd from a distance, we are almost always doing something whitetail related. ........................................................................................................................
Working for these outfitters allows me to travel to some of the top counties across the country for harvesting record book whitetails. These outfitters are located in southern Ohio, southwest Illinois & southeast Kansas. I am very selective of the outfitters I work for & have spent much time scouting, guiding &/or hunting all these outfitters & their properties personally. how do you get to book those hunts and how did you get your start filming? me and my friend want to get into filming and maybe get sponsered and start our own show one day. any advice would be greatly appreciated
kevin, yall got anything good on the ground yet? deer are movin good here with the cool weather. been seein a good amount of bucks but nothing over 120 yet. popped a huge doe on the 2nd day. she had too many hotsticks on her to let it walk!

yeah let me know when you get it up on here. thats awesome. i got a camera finally too and hope to have a bow kill up on the first week. need a doe to practice on first to get it down right.

hey bro!! I have a plan on the stand,I am actually going to bolt this one down and lock it as well!! its in one hell of a spot and one of the best funnels I have ever seen!! right next to a rock cliff and It is between a bedding area and feeding area.good spot!! going to take barb wire out and take horseshoe nails and wrap that barb wire allover that tree and then let um see If they really want it!! HAHA!! just kiddin!! one of my buddies to my to put a trail cam up way up in a tree close to the stand and then let um steal it!!
with my luck they would steal the stand & the cam. lol
I actually have 2 people in mind that might have done it,one guy told me last summer,If you have a stand missin,look me up as I might have it!! no shit!! I about crapped when he told me that!! he does not own it or even have permission!!
like i said before some people need shot!! they shouldnt breed either!! lol
I agree!! I think next which will probably happen,I will cut fingers off!! looks like its going to be a great year,but now I will not leave the new stand out!! got a new spot to hunt that has not been bowhunted in some time and lady was beggin the take some deer out!! I was happy to help!! I shed hunt the place and it borders a clearcut with most of the acorns on her property!! found a couple nice sheds in there!!
