I have very little catfishing experience, but I have done a little in the past. When we were fishing areas that had large cats we would sink bait bags full of bait to the bottom of big water areas and mark them with a GPS. Give them a few weeks and then come back to them and fish the bottom around these bags and catch some monsters!!

Hey, Wil48, Hows it going? Up here I do go fish for catfish. I have nothing special. Just chicken livers, parts and pieces of carp if you catch one. Stink bait, hot dog winners, Ive also heard white power bait. Thats about it. If you got something different let me know. years ago we use to catch trout with salmon eggs with tuna oil, it use to work. Empty the juice out of the bottle and replace it with tuna oil Let it soak for about a day. Give it a try it might work.

I have always went to walmart and got whats called Mr. Whiskers ita a Cheese mix smells horrible but they love it just dont get it on you dosnt come off easy. Use a treble hook and push it down in it with a stick and form it around the hook with a stick or wear a glove.

its been along time since I just went for cats but the best bait that just about anyone around here uses is the old stand by dough ball the fresher the better. Sorry I can not be of more help
well we use hotdogs in red die and liver wrap in pennholes,,,and you wont bigs one go deep. and if you wont good eating go selow. we fish around three sister

i use chicken livers or store bought catfish bait from walmart, hope it helps
No not much of a fisherman. I go with friends some and they know what they are doing so I wouldent be of much help.
