I saw you posted a Help bulliten but I couldn't read it without being a friend. If your having trouble doing stuff on here,
Here is a little cheat sheet I put together to share when needed. The 1st thing I'll say, is that you want to be careful about putting to much stuff and/or to much myspace high density/large file size stuff on your page because it really slows your page loading speed down to where no one will want to come to your page because it can get to the point that it locks up their pc just trying to load.
Ok, with that said lets move on!
1. The keys to this place are on your – Account - page over on the right side. It is a little area with this stuff:

Update My Account Info
Under the - Design My Profile - picking a backround picture is the 1st thing & you can load any picture you want for your background. There are some myspace type sites to - Pimp your Profile - that have all kinds of jazzy backgrounds & some folks pages show links you can click on to go to those places and/or I think a link is at the top of the “Edit My Profile” page. I just used a picture I took at the beach in Florida for my background.
Next, if you use an internet photo storage site like photobucket.com which is free, it creates an Img link for every picture you load & then you can copy & paste those Img links into your profile page when you are in the Edit My Profile part. You can also copy Img links into comments and messages as well.
Next, if you want music on your page, you can go to my page & down in the lower left area of my music, there's a tab you can click on that will take you to a website where you can set-up a free music account, pick any songs you want from their big library of songs using their search feature & create your own music list. Once you have the songs you want all picked, you go to your "account" on that site, where you'll see your song list and up near the top will be a tab you can click on to Create a Myspace Link which will take you through a few steps to where a window will pop up with a big long link to your music in it. You highlight that & right click to pick copy and then go to your camospace account page, pick Edit My Profile and then right click on your music section & pick paste! Always make sure you go all the way to the bottom of your edit page & save changes before you go to your "profile" page!
