The Diary of Anne Frank
I started free lancing for magazines across the country because that became more interesting for me as an outdoorsman. To date, I've been published in Rack Magazine, King's Hunting Illustrated, Eastman's Hunting Journal, Horizontal Bowhunter Magazine, United Federation For Disabled Archer's Magazine, Turkey & Turkey Hunting & soon to be Buckmasters' Magazine.
I have a degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Science and another in Counseling from Texas A&M and the University of Houston, respectively. I suppose both are a study of animals. But lately I’ve been more involved in hunting than ever before.
Besides Follow Me Outdoors, I post hunt journals on 2 other sites: HuntingNet.com & OutdoorFreaks.net. I'm also into travel, poker, photography, hunting dogs, & college sports. Really what else is there?
TELEVISION
Cheers. Seinfeld. M.A.S.H. Taxi. Sanford & Son! Anything on the Travel & Outdoor Channel
HEROES
People I know - Mom & Dad of course. Everyone who believes in God and doing the right thing.
People I don't know - Anyone who has sacrificed and suffered for someone they love.

ABOUT ME
I grew up hunting on the Texas gulf coast, and really fell in love with it when my dad took me duck hunting when I was about 12. From that day on, I knew I’d be involved with hunting for the rest of my life.
When I was paralyzed in the summer of 1986 in a diving accident, it was the one thing I knew I could not give up on. Three months later, I was back in the woods deer hunting. Eighteen years later, Streamlight & Buckmasters’ American Deer Foundation voted me Challenged Hunter of the Year for 2004.
In the meantime, I’ve been going afield after big game all across the United States and in three different countries. I created a website called Follow Me Outdoors in 1996 as an information source for disabled hunters who are looking for ways to get back into the great outside, and as a result, I’ve taken up outdoor writing as a hobby in order to chronicle some of my trips.
I'm also tangled up with a group called Outdoors Without Limits that puts together group hunts for its disabled members. Next year, i'll be in charge of a teal hunt in September and 2 deer hunts in November. I can't wait.
..
Tks! i'm leaving for WY wednesday to go after another big antelope. gonna be cold up there for this thin-skinned southern boy.

Feel free to head north anytime you want to do some late season waterfowling in Minnesota. You can come help me break ice any time! Could always use another body along to do some of the work (oh and shoot more ducks of course!!)
hahah...hunting up here late season is definitely a test to see who is a die hard waterfowler. when you have to break 2 inches of ice the whole way out to yours spot and break a big hole in the ice just to set decoys...if the ducks are in it's TOTALLY worth it. Dad and I got out REALLY early one morning because we had to break ice all the way to our spot. Broke a hole to set our decoys and pushed the boat into the weeds. Had our limit of ducks in 10 mintes. 10 Drake Bluebills and 2 Drake Canvasbacks. This was of course back when we could actually have that many of each and there were ducks around. We were coming off the lake when people were still coming out. It was great! Was so cold that morning that our little hole for decoys started to get slushy and was going to freeze, so when the ducks landed they couldnt get out right away. It was almost unfair! hehe
hey bro I noticed your shooting rig from the gallery photo thats pretty awsome its amazing what one can do if they are determined to do so keep up the great hunts looks like your doing pretty good add if you like
I agree!! LOL

how's the season treatin' ya?
Hello. Its going alright I guess. The ducks aren't really here yet, but I think within the next 2 weeks they should start flying.
