I'm canadian and started hunting at 11 years old. My favorite animals to hunt are Whitetails (jumpers) and Wild Turkey (Toms). I use a rifle (30/30 Marlin) , A muzzle loader (T/C Renegade 54. Cal.) and a Bow (Golden Eagle set at 51 lbs. draw). I've taken a few nice Bucks but nothing huge. I prefer Does for thier meat. Up here I can buy 5 tags for about $150.00 for deer. We have alot of Deer and alot of land to hunt them on. There are many different spiecies of animals to hunt here (too many to list). My tree stand is located on a friends property about 35 mins. from my house. Right now is early in the season with lots of leaves still on the trees so it is hard to get a clear shot. I've seen about 10 deer and 1 black bear so far in two times I've been out. Have'nt filled any tags yet but I'm still trying.
