If yall get a chance this month take a look at Wilfowl magazine's April/May 08 issue. There is a really great article writen by a local writer around my area. His name is Larry A. Ried. The article is called Turner Island Black Dog and it is an amazing story about a black lab who had 8 pups while hunting on Turner Island during duck season. Mr. Ried also wrote an article this year called The Last Market Hunter. This article means alot to me because it was written about one of my relatives and it gives a great insight on how hunting was back in the day of the market hunter.
