I noticed you are from Maine, do you still live there? I was looking at some of your photos and noticed the cast net, the boat, and the fishing trip at Boca Raton. Do you live part of the time in Florida?
congrats on your first buck with a bow last season
Hey thanks, i had a blast bow hunting last year! That european mount is pretty awesome. i have a skull mount with a similar looking rack like yours. Ive been contemplating on what i should do with it, up until i just saw your picture...did u do it paint it yourself?
Its actually a liquid film dip, the same as you would get on a gun. Im licensed by the same people that coat everything for remington, savage , tradition, horton, etc. Mathews and Bowtech use the same process. Originated in Japan. You can call me at 864-262-7462(office)
there are alot of jakes around this year huh!? i had season b. i passed on a few jakes before i got my tom, but ive seen so many jakes..good for next year tho i hope. You using your bow to try and zap one?
Bow only for me. There is a Tom around, but he is elusive. He was in my yard the first week of B season but is gone now. Wise old bird.
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
