well here we go another year, I believe hunting season this year will be great, the only thing good about my work being slow is that i get more time to prepare for hunting season and do alot more tracking.we have been small game huntin latelly but ,let me tell yah ,i can't wait till dear season gets here,bow huntin is the best, you really have to be up on your game. come on if you think about it anyone can shoot a dear with a gun, you don't have to even be close,you can be 100+ yrds away,how much fun is that,i have to admit i have shot dear with my 30.06 and 12ga. but there is no feeling like takeing one of these awsome animals with a bow at a close range, my last one i shot at 15 yds. and you can't explain how awsome it feels to be that close and they have know idea you are there, scent control plays a big part but it takes alot more than that to have a successful hunt,yah sometimes you might get lucky dureing the rut when they are preocupied with other stuff to pay attantion to you but in the early season they have all thier senses focused and you have to be up on your game.I'm not sayin theres anything wrong with gun season, I'm just sayin I prefer Bow season my self. good luck everybody and have a safe huntin season. ,Jon
