I'm on team 35, we got a few guys hunting in Illinois and Missouri, another hunting in Texas and somewhere else. I'm like you, hopefully I'll stick a few does and maybe score on a young buck!
Got my Stingers last weekend, they're shootin' great, and shaaarrrrrrp! I bought a small cheap Smith's sharpener tool, maybe it will do the job. But I'm ready to roll, can't wait! Are you in the bow contest?
I'm all dialed in...stands are set and I'm ready to go! ha, ha

You already for huntin season?
I was out shooting the bow this afternoon. I had been struggling with my set up a little but i finally got it dialed in today. Needless to say I'm counting down the days until October, its killing me. How about you, all ready?
Honestly I've never sharpened a broadhead so I don't know what to expect. I've always used expandable Wasp jak-hammers. I'm hoping it won't be too hard, but I guess it's much different than sharpening a knife. I'm looking at that Diamond Broadhead sharpener from Cabelas. I think that would be best to get a good sharp point. Sounds like you've sharpened a broadhead before, what kind do you use?
Yeah I'm gonna get the 4 blade Stingers at basspro when I go to the beach in a couple of weeks. They're supposed to be very good broadheads. Also come with a lifetime warranty. If you break it, need replacement bleeder blades, or just can't sharpen it good enough anymore, they send you new ones for free. That's what I like, no buying replacements. I'm looking forward to shooting them for sure. Let me know how they shoot for you!
I will have to look into the bow contest then. Yeah we have a long wait too, bow season in NY where i hunt doesn't open until October 18th. The wait is killing me, I just went to Cabelas this afternoon to buy some new broadheads.
I've gotta get some new ones myself. What kind do you shoot? I'm tired of buyin replacement blades so I'm going with Stingers this year.
I think there's still time to sign up for it. This will be my first year in the bow contest. I've been in the turkey contest for 2 years, our team won it two years ago. Contests are fun, and great way to meet everybody on there. Our bow season comes in October 15th, I got a while to wait. What about yall's?
