I love my rifle too but bowhunting intrigues me.  Its a lot of fun!

Thanks!  Yeah I was pretty excited.  To make it even better...it was the first time ever taking my bow into the woods to hunt.    I had missed a doe and stayed put.  He came in only minutes after I missed her.

Linet, your first deer with a bow was a buck?!  That's pretty good.  I killed a truck load of does before ever landing a buck and then it took me forever to take a "big" buck.  I loved hunting every one of them.

We have big bucks in some places.  Where I live its hard to get people NOT to shoot the dinks.  Where theres few deer people are less selective. 

My area that was great for the last few years is being overran by horses.  I may not have it so good this year.
