I got a new bow last weekend! I had my eye on a Hoyt Kobalt (i liked the Selena but they replaced it with the Kobalt). I shot the Kobalt, a Diamond Bow-Tech and a few others. None of them stood out until I tired the Mathews Ignition. I can't believe how smoother this bow is- significantly more than the others I tried. The bow alone was $299 on sale, so I got it. Of course I had to deck it out in matching RT hardwoods camo acessories... so it ended up being a bit over $500. I can't wait to get out and play with it!! Just had to share....
Today was Timber's first official day of training, as he is only 9 weeks old. I worked him on "sit" and "here" commands. Also worked on walking on the leash. So far, so good. Took some great photos of him watching the geese fly over. I worked Berkley on some of the commands he's rusty on, such as "heel". I've decided to set aside time every day to work with them both, so they'll be in tip top shape for hunting season.
