It has been so cool lately in the morning and evening that I wish it was already Oct.1(opening archery season here in OK). I haven't physically seen any deer when I go out, but I know they have been there judging by the attractants being gone everytime I go out. Oh well, less than 2 weeks now.

Well, here I am, watching Pursuit channel and it is just getting me more excited for this upcoming season. I broke out my bow(finally) and did a few test fires. Guess what...it was NOT sighted in, so now comes the process, and I do mean process, of resighting. I decided to try a device called a Hindsight for my sights. It takes the peep off the string and puts cross hairs behind the sights. It works good when it is sighted in, just a pain in the butt to get sighted. I am wondering what the lands are gonna provide this year being I will be on public land this year. The lease I had last year had more poachers than deer on it, so I gave it up and haven't found one I like yet that is close to home. Well, enough for this time. Happy hunting
