Will be carp fishing on Saturday for the first time.  Should be a blast.  Duck season opens on the 19th and I am so excited I can't hardly stand it.  This will be my first duck shoot.  Can you believe what shotgun shells cost?  100 dollars doesn't go very far anymore.  I had better practice up on my shooting.

On a more sober note, my fishing/ hunting buddy's 9 year old daughter might have cancer.  Chances seem pretty good for her but we won't know till next week at least.  Please say a prayer for her and the family.
