Had a great Dad’s Day yesterday! Started out with going to Zoombesi Bay, which is the newly redeveloped Columbus Zoo & Water park that used to be called Wyandot Lake. We bought family passes this year to help sponsor the zoo & obviously so we could have some fun weekends this summer. Chris has buddies that have passes to so he can go with them to if they’re going & vice versa. I didn’t take the camera to the water park, so I’ll just share some of the new construction pictures and map. Then we went fishing in the spillway up at Alum creek lake. I was hoping to maybe catch a Musky but all we caught were some gills that I used for bait & some rock bass. There were a couple Musky caught while we were there but they were way up by the beginning of the spillway. We could hear the whooping & hollering and see the splashing in the water but I wasn’t close enough to take pictures… We had fun though, had a couple slams on the gills where I lost the baits & it was good to get out and do some fishing!
