well just to give you all a little about me and what the hell is goin on here in alaska. well my name is matt and i currently live on fort wainwright up in alaska. i have been in alaska for 7 years now and just love it. also been in the army for 8 years in august. been to iraq once for 15 months but am on my way back this fall DAMN IT another hunting season pissed down my leg. well since i cant hunt this all im starting now bears season is just starting to heat up goin out this weekend to check out the area. then it time to hit the rivers. pike should be starting to spawn here in the next few weeks and then the salmon should be here. i cant wait to hook back into those KINGS. biggest one for me so far is 44lbs but hoping to beat that this summer. well thats about it ill keep you up dated on the bear hunting and the fishing
