Bear hunting can be a frustrating sport! But it's exciting enough to keep you optimistic and interested. I hunted 4 1/2 days but only saw 1 bear on the 2nd evening sit. The bear appeared behind my stand, and about 5 minutes before quitting time and it never offered me a shot with my bow. I have trail camera pictures of several nice boars on a couple of diffrent baits, but the baits have slowed down now that that acorns have been falling. I've found several piles of bear droppings, and they are full of the acorns. The baits that are still being hit but the bears are not eating everything at the stump. They are taking a few bites and wandering off. So it leads me to believe that they are filling up on the acorns and the remaining blackberries in the area. But I'm still optimistic. We haven't spooked the bears, as far as I know and they are continuing to hit the baits. But I won't be going north again for 2 weeks and I'll give another shot then. Wish I had more vacation time! I'd be out there right now!
