  well finally got around to rehydrating the lynx. Hope to get it measured and order the form tomorrow.

 Have to get started on a habitat for the bobcat, have a cute little mouse munching on grass for it to be stalking up on..  Looks like it will turn out real nice.

 The 15th  B zone opens for rifle, we will be heading up to hunt deer and bear , and scout around for bobcat.  Cant wait to try to get a few kittys this year. 

Have to spend this weekend getting Grandma moved into her new apartment so wont be able to go out hunting for anything...

HI all :)

  IM in Valley Springs California. A small but growing town in the sierra fothills, above Stockton Ca.

 I went to the World Taxidermy Championships this past April and earned a 2nd place ribbon :) Not too shabby for my very first show. I spent the whole week attending seminars and had a great time and met alot of great taxidermists from all over the world.

  I am not really much into competing but it was a great chance to see where I stood as far as my work goes.  And the seminars were extremely informative. I learned alot of great tips.

 This year we are trying to get a real shop built, complete with a show room to display mounts. Of all the species out there I  love doing predators such as coyotes, bobcats fox etc, and big game. 

 My husband and I do alot of hunting. This year we are going to Colorado twice, Utah and Maybe Wyoming. And of course we also hunt here in California. Going after bear, bobcat, pig and deer here and in the other states- predators, elk and deer. IM hoping to get a nice big bull so I can do a lifesize for my display room, also will be hoping for a good size mule deer to lifesize as well. With the new shop going in I will have more space for such large mounts. Should be alot of fun
