From your status message it looks like you guys are not doing to bad yourselves....lol. I got lucky this year! I really didnt think I would get a shot at such a brute, knew he was nice when I spotted him over a mile away, took me and my son 4 hours to hike this steep mountain to get above timberline where he was, I crawled over the ridge and he was right in front of me feeding, I didnt even see how big his horns were, just that he had them...lol..he droped into aravine feding and 20 minutes later came up other side and presented a broadside shot at 102 yrds, he went down with a thud. Wasnt till I walked over to him that I saw how big he really was, I was so excited...lol...was told by the official NMLRA scorer that it might possibly be the largest muley taken with a muzzle loader by a woman..have to wait till I get him back from taxidermist next month to have him officially scored, he green scored at 198 6/8.
Thanks for the request. I love your pics. Its hard for me to believe at 48 years young you have such big grand kids! Congrats on the great looking family. Have a great week!
