This is the youtube link to a promo video for a friend's racing team. They are trying to put together a t.v. show to follow and fund their racing program. The more youtube hits and positive comments they have by Monday, Dec. 15th the better it will look when they meet with some producers... thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ipeRbqr_Ac
Apparently some sort of relatively aggressive virus is affecting certain embedded YouTube videos. Some are saying it affects IE and Firefox users, while others say it’s only going after IE. The virus is called Actns/Swif.T and seems to contain a redirect to a phishing website embedded within a SWF file. The site apparently installs Antivirus 2009, which is malware. We’ll pull our most recent YouTube embeds, but be careful because this one appears to have just broken out today. If you find yourself being automatically redirected or experience other weird pop-ups, especially for something called Antivirus 2009, don’t click on anything. [UPDATE: Spoke with Google/YouTube and apparently anti-spyware software from Computer Associates had been returning false positives, identifying certain files contained within YouTube embed codes as malware. The specific YouTube issue is apparently being corrected by Computer Associates and wasn’t actually harmful in the first place. If you’ve got CA software, you might want to check for any updates.]
American Corey Cogdell won a dramatic four-way shoot-off for bronze. All three rivals for bronze before her missed the target before Cogdell stepped up and fired off a shot that just chipped off a small piece of the orange target. "It's unbelievable," said Makela-Nummela, 37, who finished with 91 targets, two ahead of Stefecekova.
Asked if she had been nervous with the final so close, Makela-Nummela said: "No, I tried to stay relaxed."
Cogdell, who grew up going moose hunting in Alaska with her father, was in medal contention behind joint leaders Makela-Nummela and Stefecekova after the qualification round. But she struggled in the early rounds before hitting her last five targets to draw even at 86.
"I've only been shooting this for the past two years so I definitely didn't expect to do this so early in my career. This is an incredible blessing," said Codgell.
Everyone here can congratulate her directly on her profile here, at CamoSpace.com

Everyone is aware that at times, the website decided to start 'acting funny' ( to keep it simple ). Some were seeing blank white, some were getting a pop-up with an error and some ... well, let's just say they were getting a bit angered at the speed. Well, this "should" be resolved and I would like to know if you are seeing a change in the speed. There are alot of factors that go into the speed & response time of a website and, well, this one here is an exception to the standard rule due to the amount of data passing per minute. On average, the site is processing 48 - 80 GIGS of data, per day, every day while at the same time handling over 250,000 "requests" of data every hour [ 74.3 requests/sec - 573.1 kB/second - 7.4 kB/request ] On top of this, some are watching videos, chatting on IM, uploading pics, viewing pics, adding videos, etc., which all start to slow down the response time of a site. That is where me, and a small team of magic makers come in. Just like with an engine, you have to tune it a bit for better performance. Sometimes, when you make something work better, something else will perform a bit less than part. A few weeks ago, we tuned the engine here to prevent data overloads from occuring which, in result, caused problems in other areas. The errors that were seen were the result of a dropped request, plain and simple, responding to the tune-up that was helping other areas. I feel that what we worked on late last night, into the early morning hours and put in place mid-morning today "should" improve everyones experience here, back to how they liked it. If it acts funny, don't hesitate to contact me. Appreciate everyones patience this past week. Thanks.

While I am putting together a profile designer utility, it will have the ability to automatically create profile themes based on what we pre-design for everyone to use. To make it easier, I am pulling in a few requests as to particular 'themes' that we can build for you, to easily get your profile designed and customized. Since I already have RealTree in the works, what are some other suggestions of ready-made themes you all would like to see in this utility ? Thanks.

I know not many people like it when people are asking for money for any cause, even girl scout cookies but the truth is that many organizations fail to operate without these donations. The relationship we have put ourselves into with Country Goes Huntin' is just that, a relationship to show them that our members can pull the support needed to help them further their mission, and make a change in someones life. We are not looking for donations in the $100's from everyone on the site but, we are still looking for donations to pass on to them. CamoSpace.com will not withhold one penny from the money contributed back from the organization. Let's look at the numbers, and then maybe we can see that everyone on here can contribute, in their own way, to this cause without missing any of the money donated. First, some numbers. 77% of our members are over the age of 18 As of the time of this post, that equals 2783 people I did some research with Google and WikiPedia, as well as many other locations and pulled some more numbers. I found that Seventy-four ( 74%) percent of Americans when shown a charitable cause that they can see helping a lifestyle or recreation that they enjoy, donate more that $10 to the cause ( the number was actually averaged to $17.84 ). When they receive something in return for their donation, the average number raised up to Eighty-Two ( 82%) percent and the average donation was about $25. Minimum amount we would ever expect to have donated: $5 Amount we actually give you something in return is $10 If we were able to get 74% of those 2783 members ( 2059 ) to donate at least $10 to Country Goes Huntin', we would be able to present them with a check in the amount of $20,590 in approximately one month. This is not including what we are going to contribute on top of what we get from our member base. Can you imagine being part of a community that could collectively give a check in the amount of $25,000 to a charity that is dedicated to our lifestyle and recreation ? Being able to see your $10 actually make a difference in 100's of lives is something to see and, it is something we would like to see happen. I am not going to become that crazed telephone solicitor that drives this like crazy everyday but, I will most likely be dropping in an update, etc., to the community at least once a week until we head out to Dothan, Alabama in April to go down to this event. I look forward to seeing the community come together and, as they say on them late night commercials, for less than $0.34 a day, you CAN make a difference in someones life. I am done with the business directory modules and now I need a list of all the categories that everyone would be interested in posting and searching for services in. Post your ideas and thoughts as a comment to this blog and they will be added to the system. Thanks.
It is hard to believe that six months ago we started with hopes of bringing together a few hundred people who enjoy the outdoors as much as us.
Tonight, we hit 3000 members!
Some may have noticed that we broke both 2000 and 3000 members, in the same month. It is true! We broke 2000 members about a week into February and have added 1295 new members, just this month.
I would personally like to thank everyone who joined, as well as those who referred members this month to help us reach our goals. This has been the busiest month since the start, topping the charts with new pictures, new members and overall activity.
I look forward to seeing another record breaking month next month and am still accepting thoughts and ideas on ways to make the site better for everyone. Look forward to some changes and new areas opening up over the next few weeks.
Let's see if we can't get to 4500 members by the end of March !
With much appreciation! Adminfox
We are looking for writers who would like to become regular contributors to the website on topics, issues, new products, etc., that pertain to our world that others would be interested in reading.
We will have you featured ( more coverage than a featured member ) in main areas of the site and will be looking for others to embark into conversations over the topics, articles, etc.
We've built the frame, got wheels on it, now all we need is to get the community interacting and involved. As I am working on minor updates throughout, this is one that I am excited to get in place since it will provide everyone with something new, every week (or day, depending on how many we get ). I am also starting to build the structure for an online forum. Similar to many other websites which, if done and setup right, will bring in the interaction as well that a community needs to deliver information or ideas.
I look forward to all you have to comment on, suggest and offer to help us grow and reach our 2000 member mark by the end of February.
Thanks.
