We hunt nw arkansas and we creep em now. We used to spread hunt, but it just got too dangerous in our area. Locals are big on rifling collars and my dad had a bullet wiz through his spread one time. Plus, that puts extra pressure on the birds so it's hard for them to develop a pattern.
I've hunted near West Lake before with a local taxidermist friend of my dad's. I used to hunt the Hopedale Marsh out of Delacroix Island and part of the Plaquemines Marsh south of Meraux. It's been a long time since I've been down there, though.
Cool. Where do you do most of your goose hunting? I'll post you a pic on my page that got a bunch of stuff stirred up. I'm the one on the far right in jeans and a natgear shirt.
Hey Don, sorry I missed your call yesterday. I just wanted to let you know that I got your message about receiving my gun. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to see the outcome. Please keep me up to date on it's status and I will update the post in my group. Have a Blessed weekend!
you picked a good pattern
Thanks, I hope so. I own a furniture restoration company, so I've done my share of refinishing. I am fascinated with the process you use and would love to learn more about it. Where can I research the process?
