Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why
so disturbed within me? Put your hope
in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior
and my God.***( *Psalms 42:5 * NIV )

Dear Hunters,
Discouragement or depression strikes all of us once in
a while.  After all, depression is one of the most common
emotional ailments.

One antidote for depression is to think about how much
God Loves You and Blesses You as well.  This will take
your mind off the present situation and give you Hope, that
with God's Help, it will improve!   For; The Lord is good to
those whose hope is in him, to the one who
seeks him. Plus; Those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings
like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. ( Lamentations 3:25 )  &  ( Isaiah 40:31 )

So; Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ!  In his great mercy he has given us
new birth into a living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. ( 1 Peter 1:3 )

Now Hunters; May the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that
you may overflow with hope by the power of
the Holy Spirit. ( Romans 15:13 )
And kiss those blues
good-bye forever!  Amen!

Be strong and of good courage, do not
fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD
your God, He is the One who goes with
you. He will not leave you nor forsake
you."( Deuteronomy 31:6 *NKJV )

 Dear Hunters,
Those words were spoken by Moses to all the Children of
 Israel.

The Prophet David also wrote,  In God I have put
my trust; I will not be afraid. What can
man do to me?( Psalm 56:11 )

Our Savior Jesus Christ said; "And lo, I am with
you always, even to the end of the age" ( Matthew 28:20 )

The Apostle Paul wrote; For He Himself has said,
"I will never leave you nor forsake you .
So we may boldly say:" The LORD is my
helper; I will not fear. What can man do
to me?"( Hebrews 13:5-6 )

Those words are as true today as when they were spoken
by Jesus, Paul, David and Moses!   For our Heavenly Father is
always with us, helping, guiding and protecting us as we walk
the pathway of this life.  With help like that why be fearful of
 the future or anything else?

Therefore as a child of God do not fear another person,
place or thing!   After all what is fear but the opposite of faith!
 So put all of your faith in God and you will be able to say;
I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. Amen. ( Psalm 34:4 )

From the fullness of his grace we have
all received one blessing after another.
( John 1:16 *NIV )

Dear Hunters,
Always remember to count your blessings each day, and to
thank God for them! For no matter what we have, when we
look around us, we find others who have less! So never feel
sorry for yourself, instead start counting your blessings, for that
should cheer you up indeed.

Now I know that when things disappoint us, we are sad and
often depressed. However it is written that we should; Be joyful
always; pray continually; give thanks in all
circumstances, for this is God's will for you in
Christ Jesus. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 )

Therefore Hunters, never feel that God doesn't hear your prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way you want, or something
goes wrong in your life. For your Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for you, and; He will never leave you nor
forsake you." ( Deuteronomy 31:6 )

So my friends, remember to always; Give thanks to the
Lord, call on His name; make known among the
nations what he has done for you!
( 1 Chronicles 16:8 )

In closing, May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the fellowship of the
Holy Spirit be with you all now and always! Amen!
( 2 Corinthians 13:14 )

As for me and my household, we will
 serve the Lord .
            &nb sp;    ( Joshua 24:15 *NIV )

 Dear Hunters,
As a child of GOD, we are to strive to become as much like
CHRIST as we can possibly be.  Remember that CHRIST
came as a Servant, not as a Great King, and Serving others
is an important way of becoming more like JESUS!

After all our Savior JESUS CHRIST said; For even the Son
of Man did not come to be served, but to
serve, and to give his life as a ransom for
 many.            &nb sp;            ( Mark 10:45 )

Therefore we should also; But be very careful to keep
the commandment and the law that Moses
the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the
Lord your God, to hold fast to him and to serve
him with all your heart and all your soul."
    ( Joshua 22:5 )

Now, we may do that by sharing our love with each other,
and by Serving our Heavenly Father as well.  Some Serve GOD
by teaching Sunday School, others by helping people who are
in need!  After all, there are many ways to Serve our Heavenly
 Father.

Therefore Hunters, why not volunteer to help others when the need
arises; since you know that you will receive an
inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is
the Lord Christ you are serving.   Amen.
       ( Colossians 3:24 )

Jeremiah 2:2

" 'I remember the devotion of your youth,
how as a bride you loved me
and followed me through the desert,
       through a land not sown.
3 Israel was holy to the LORD,
       the firstfruits of his harvest;
all who devoured her were held guilty,
       and disaster overtook them,' "
       declares the LORD.

God says I remember when you were young, I remember how devoted you were to me.  You were like a bride. And you would follow me.  So do you truly remember what it was like when you first realized that you needed a savior, and that savior was Christ. It was like a honeymoon, with the same intimate loving and affections.  A ceremony followed by complete and undeniable devotion to your Groom.  You would let the Lord lead you anywhere with complete comfort and trust in His protection.  How bout how He describes us as His first fruits.  Wow!  He tells us that we should give Him our first fruits because it is our very best, then He says that we are His firstfruits.  Do you think He loves us?  Oh yes!  And then look at the last few lines where God says , that if anyone tried to hurt or harm you He would devour or destroy them.

BUT THEN!

Vs 5 "What fault did your fathers find in me,
that they strayed so far from me?
       They followed worthless idols
       and became worthless themselves
.

God says "So why'd you leave me?"  I mean with that pure love and affection and devotion that you experienced within Christ, "why'd you leave me?".  These words break my heart, as I think of myself, and how I have done this.  I have allowed the world to creep in and satan to drive that wedge between me and my Groom.  As my grasp loosens His grasp tightens.  But I can hear in these words that His heart is broken.

Vs11  Has a nation ever changed its gods?
(Yet they are not gods at all.)
But my people have exchanged their [d] Glory
       for worthless idols.
12 Be appalled at this, O heavens,
       and shudder with great horror,"
       declares the LORD.
13 "My people have committed two sins:
       They have forsaken me,
       the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

God wants to know  "Why would you trade Me?"  He even announces to the Heavens that they should be appalled at our turning away.  Because we committed two sins.  First we turned our backs on God, then we tried to fill that hole with the world.  I feel a tremble as I consider how God explains this.  How He shows us that He is the Living Water, yet still we try to dig our own cisterns(wells).  Then I remember as a child seeing a cistern, then hearing my father explaing to me how the cistern worked.  There was no spring which filled the well, it would normally be place adjacent to the home and was filled by the runoff from the roof.  In other words they relied on the Lord to fill the well.  But as it would be there wasn't enough rain in some days to fill the well, so they would gather water and try to fill it themselves.  And this is exactly what we do in life.  We have turned our backs on the Living Water, and we try to fill our lives with addictions, alcohol, pornography, drugs, sex, lude behavior, and everything we can find so that our lives might be filled like they were when we were on our honeymoon with God.  And then pay close attention to the end of the verse where God says that our cistern wont even hold water.  Its broken.  And our well is broken.  Because we don't need it.  We have a cup that overflows, in God.

God wants to know! What did I do wrong, What did I not provide for you?
And if you look at Chapter 3 God says it perfectly.

VS 3:19 "I myself said,
" 'How gladly would I treat you like sons
and give you a desirable land,
the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.'
I thought you would call me 'Father'
and not turn away from following me.
20 But like a woman unfaithful to her husband,
so you have been unfaithful to me, O house of Israel,"
       declares the LORD.

If this doesn't just break your heart and open you to feel Gods pain...............
God offered them exactly what He offers us.  Our hearts desires.  Where are you today.  Are you digging, or filling a well that want hold water?  Are you on your honeymoon with God?

Jesus said the same thing in Matthew 23  How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

So Where are YOU?

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn
us, we have confidence toward God.
And whatever we ask we receive from
Him, because we keep His commandments
and do those things that are pleasing in
His sight.
            ( 1 John 3:21-22 *NKJV )

 Dear Hunters,
Now would you change the way that you live if you
knew that God knew all of your thoughts, heard all of
your words, and knew all the desires of your heart?  Well
Tim, He does for it is written; The Lord knows
the thoughts of man That they are futile.

For He also; knows the secrets of the heart. .
 ( Psalms 94:11 ) & ( Psalms 44:21 )

Now when we try our best to have pure thoughts and
desires and follow the Commandments put forth by
God, we often get our prayers answered.  For it is
written; The effective, fervent prayer of a
righteous man avails much. ( James 5:16 )

So Hunters, when you speak be careful of the words you
use, and keep them soft and sweet.  For we are to
always encourage one another and build
each other up,
Most of all, always think before you speak so
that; The words of my mouth and the meditation
of my heart be acceptable in Your sight O Lord ,
my strength and my Redeemer.
     ( 1 Thessalonians 5:11 )  ( Psalms 19:14 )

Now my friends, have a Great Weekend and may it be
 filled with blessings indeed!   Amen.

The steps of a good man are ordered by
the LORD, And He delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly
cast down; For the LORD upholds him
with His hand.
        ( Psalms 37:23-24 *NKJV )

 Dear Hunters and Friends,
Now when we first learned to walk, we often fell down, but did
we stay down?  NO, we reached out to the extended hand of our
mother or father, who helped us back on our feet.  This happened
often until we finally learned to walk on our own.

We can learn to walk with our Heavenly Father's helping hand
the very same way!  For then when we fall, we can reach out to
God through prayer, and accept His merciful helping hand as well!
 After all it is written;
  The LORD lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.
         ( Psalms 147:6 )

     Also written;
For He shall give His angels
charge over you, To keep you in all your
ways. In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
        ( Psalms 91:11-12 )

So Hunters, walk with God everyday
and you will find; The LORD your God in
your midst,The Mighty One, will save; He
will rejoice over you with gladness, He will
quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over
you with singing."   ( Zephaniah 3:17 )

Now Beloved, have a great day knowing that the loving hand of
God is always there ready to help you, no matter what you may
 face!   AMEN..

"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!"
             ( ISAIAH 6:3 *NKJV )

 Dear Hunters,
Indeed, the whole Earth is full of His Glory!  You can
see it in a beautiful sunrise or sunset.  You can feel it
in the soft Autumn breeze.  You can touch it by
holding a newborn babe.  You can smell it in the flowers.
It is ever abundant all around, for no matter where we
live, beauty surrounds us!  For, He has made
everything beautiful in its time. (Ecc 3:11 )
What a beautiful planet we live on, and what a wonderful
 Heavenly Father we have!

Why not take a few moments today to look around
and behold the Glory of God's Creation?  It will make
you proud to be a Child of God, and give you a peaceful
feeling deep within!  Also, if you aren't planning to already
 why not attend the Church of your choice today, and;
Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him
 according to His excellent greatness!
 ( Psalms150:2 )

Have a wonderful day Hunters, and may it be filled
with Peace, Love & Joy, and may; The grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
 ( Philippians 4:23 )

No temptation has seized you except
what is common to man. And God is
faithful; he will not let you be tempted
beyond what you can bear. But when
you are tempted, he will also provide a
way out so that you can stand up under it.
           ( 1 Corinthians 10:13 *NIV )

 Dear Hunters,
Now as you know this World is filled with sinful desires.
Temptations are everywhere, for you can find them on Television,
in the Movies, or even on the Internet as well!

Now this isn't something new for even our Savior Jesus Christ
even faced temptation on this Earth as well!  That is written in
the Book of Luke, ( 4:1-13.)  Therefore when you
find yourself being tempted, remember who the great
tempter is and; Be self-controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a
roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
     ( 1 Peter 5:8 )

     Also never think that God is tempting you, for it is written;
When tempted, no one should say, "God is
tempting me." For God cannot be tempted
by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but
each one is tempted when, by his own evil
desire, he is dragged away and enticed.
       ( James 1:13-14 )

So Hunters, always turn to prayer when you find yourself being
tempted.  For we do not have a High Priest who
cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but
was in all points tempted as we are, yet
without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly to
the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
       ( Hebrews 4:15-16 )

Now may; The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be
 with your spirit. Amen.
            &nb sp;       (Philippians 4:23 )

We as hunter know temptation.  How about that time that the buck you wanted was just out of your effective range.  To shoot, or not to shoot.   Sometimes we face similar temptations in life, but we can be assured that Christ has given us the ability to overcome these temptations.  We only have to remember that our best weapon is to put on Christ, He has conquered death, how could we not realize that He can conquer all temptation.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast
of the field which the LORD God had made. And he
said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You
shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"
            &nb sp;        ( Genesis 3:1 *NKJV )

  Dear Hunters,
The serpent (satan) has been tempting mankind since
the beginning of this Earth age.  Just as he tempted
Adam and Eve, he tempts us as well!  Therefore you
must: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking
  whom he may devour.   ( 1 Peter 5:8 )

Now as Children of God we have added protection for
it is written; No temptation has overtaken you except
such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will
not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able,
but with the temptation will also make the way of escape,
that you may be able to bear it.   ( 1 Corinthians 10:13 )

Therefore
submit to God. Resist the devil and he will
flee from you.  For when you: Draw near to God and He
will draw near to you.            &nb sp;          ( James 4:7-8 )

So Hunters, the next time satan tries to tempt you
tell him to take a hike!  For Jesus Christ gave you that
power when He said; Behold, I give you the authority
to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means
  hurt you.   Amen.            &nb sp;                ( Luke 10:19-20 )

When you pass through the waters, I will be
with you; And through the rivers, they shall
not overflow you. When you walk through
the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall
the flame scorch you.
( Isaiah 43:2 *NKJV )

Dear Hunters,
There are times in our life when we find ourselves in
difficult situations. Times when our faith is put to the test.
We may even feel that God has abandoned us, and that
we are all alone.

When you feel that way remember that it is written;
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may
boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?" ( Hebrews 13:5-6 )

Therefore, when you pass through the waters of difficulty,
and the flames of distress, know that God is always there
with you. For, The LORD is good, A stronghold in the
day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
( Nahum 1:7 )

So Hunters, always remember that you are walking,
hand in hand, with your Heavenly Father when those difficult
times arrive, and that He Loves You very much because
you are one of His beloved children!

Now, have a Great Weekend my friends. Amen.

"Grace" and peace be yours in abundance through
the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord.
( 2 Peter 1:2 *NIV )
Dear Hunters,
Did you ever wonder what is meant by God's Grace? Well,
"Grace" means the freely given, "unmerited favor and love
of God," given to HIS Children! Now, God Demonstrates
His own love for us in that while we were still
sinners: Christ died for us.. ( Romans 5:8 )

Therefore; Dear friends, since God so loved us,
we ought to love one another. No one has ever
seen God; but if we love one another, God lives
in us and His love is made complete in us.
( 1 John 4:11-12 )

So always; Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength ( Mark 12:30 ) After all, HE showers us with
more love than that every day.

Finally Hunters, I pray that you, being rooted and
established in love, may have power, together
with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long
and high and deep is the love of Christ, that
you may be filled to the measure of all the
fullness of God. Amen. ( Ephesians 3:17-19 )

Many of us as hunters consider ourselves close to God.
Because we spend our time enjoying the great outdoors
we think this gives us a special place. Truth is that we are often
times fooled into a false sense. We consider our lives
and think this is enough, or I need to fix this or that, or
I know I should get closer to God. Or from a scarier point
of view, we think that we go to church from the treestand,
or can't get closer to God than I get in the woods, or God
knows who I really am. Truth is He knows you.....and by nature
you are sinful....but consider this..........

"Grace" and peace be yours in abundance through
the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord.
( 2 Peter 1:2 *NIV )
Dear Hunters,
Did you ever wonder what is meant by God's Grace? Well,

I know that in these days that many of us have endured
for the past few weeks following IKE, we have encountered
an angel in our life. Or possibly been an angel for someone.
I have heard stories of neighbors sharing generators, food,
water, ice, chainsaws........ Stories of a hero showing up that
actually knew how to use that buzzing saw that is going to somehow
remove that once towering oak from my BMW. Or, how that guy that
drives that BIG 4X4 truck through the neighborhood can actually drag those trees out near the road, and he even knew how to wire my generator into the panel so we can get rid of those multitude of cords.

It is amazing how the Lord can use a multitude
of people to be Angels in our days.......

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so
doing some people have entertained angels
without knowing it.
( HEBREWS 13:2 *NIV )

Dear Hunters,
One of the functions of angels is to watch over God's Children
here on Earth. For it is written: For He shall give His
angels charge over you, To keep you in all your
ways After all: Are not all angels ministering spirits
sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
( Psalms 91:11 ) ( HEBREWS 1:14 )

Now let me ask you this, have you ever met an angel? Well,
I bet you have! An angel doesn't have to be a spiritual being,
sometimes they are human beings just like you and me.

Further, when you think about it, we all have encountered
another person who has been just like an angel to us. A person
who has reached out to help, comfort and guide us in times of
need. The World is full of these human angels! I'll even bet that
someone has even called you an angel at one time or another!

So Hunters, the next time you encounter a person in
need, reach out and be an angel to them! For it is Jesus said:
'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the
least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Amen ( Matthew 25:40 )

Today is the national recognized day to pray at the flag pole of your local school. I am going to be at the intermediate school in Huntsville this morning along with my daughter, to gather in the name of the Lord. In these times I feel now more than ever we have to become a part of times like these. I pray that each of you today can find an opportunity to be involved in this event.

Also I have included the Christ Outdoors message today, that I feel will place within us the fire to be passionate and urgent about preaching the gospel to every creature.
May the Lord bless you all in this day.

JESUS ANSWERED, "EVERYONE WHO DRINKS THIS
WATER WILL BE THIRSTY AGAIN, BUT WHOEVER DRINKS
THE WATER THAT I GIVE HIM WILL NEVER THIRST."
( JOHN 4:13*NIV )

Dear Hunters,
Just as our bodies' hunger and thirst, so do our souls.
However our souls need spiritual food and water. The
Living word, Jesus Christ, and His written Word the
Holy Bible can satisfy our hungry and thirsty souls!
It is written: THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT
AMOUNG US, AND WE BEHELD HIS GLORY, THE
GLORY OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER,
FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH. ( JOHN 7:37-38 )
Jesus, said "IF ANYONE THIRSTS, LET HIM COME TO
ME AND DRINK. HE WHO BELIVES IN ME, AS THE
SCRIPTURE HAS SAID, OUT OF HIS HEART WILL
FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER." ( JOHN 7:34-38 )

Now you will find reading the Bible not only nourishes
our souls, it also helps us deal with everyday problems.
FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND POWERFUL . AND SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD.
We also gain knowledge and wisdom from God's Word.
It even helps to bring us out of depression, anguish, and
worry as well. What a wonderful Book it is! Why not
spend a little time each day reading it? You will find that
every page you read will bring you a little closer to our
Heavenly Father, and what a wonderful journey that is!
Amen. (HEBREWS 4:12 )

So Hunters, LET THE WORD OF CHRIST DWELL
IN YOU RICHLY IN ALL WISDOM, TEACHING AND
ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER IN PSALMS AND HYMNS
AND SPIRITUAL SINGING WITH GRACE IN YOUR HEART
TO THE LORD. Amen. ( COLOSSIANS 3:16 )
