For all of you who are Gary's friends here checking in on him, please say a prayer for him. Something is really wrong. I usually hear from him daily outside of CS and he was going to be on a job Jul22-24th...it's now August19th with no word to anyone FOR ALMOST A MONTH!! Gary is an old family friend and I CAN TELL YOU...this is not like him at all!! No one has heard from him. As many of you who know him, know he's off in the mountains on his most of the time and hopefully that's all that's going on, but he usually even texts me pics from the top lol. Am just a friend who's worried about her friend. If you hear from him and he's ok...tell him there's a line to kick his ass about a mile long for going off radar for so long! Anyway like I said our families go way back and we're just worried...so say a prayer for him because honestly he's in jail, hurt somewhere, in a hospital or looking down from above at us, FOR REAL.

Gary is an old family friend and I CAN TELL YOU...this is not like him at all!! He knew my divorce hearing was scheduled Aug 3 and would not have missed calling me. For about a week his voicemail has been full and now his phone doesn't ring, goes straight to voicemail that is full which means his battery is dead. If you know Gary you know he's a talker and a BS'er and is on here giving everyone hell, lol. NO ONE has heard from him. PS.Just so you know...he was leaving Wed July 22 and was supposed to be back Friday July 24th...and it is now Aug 8th...
OK Y'all!! Had a few people ask me for this so am warning ya this is how I cook...I throw things together...It tastes good...I learned from my Granma's and Mom how to follow a recipe but I always do it my way so have fun with this ;o) I've had no complaints yet!
TOMI'S THIS n' THAT BLACKBERRY BEAR MARNIADE
A bunch of seedless backberry jam (homemade's best but a 1/2 a store bought jar works)
about 10 shakes of basalmic vinegar
the leftover red wine (usually pinot noir or merlot what ever I didnt finish, lol & about a 1/3 cup) and if it's still good pour yourself some!
some melted clover honey ( guessing about a 1/3 to 1/2 cup liquid), melt it in the microwave
some cumin powder (probably a tsp)
5 shakes of garlic powder, from the shaker side of the costco bottle, lol
4 pinches of salt
4 pinches of black pepper
a few spoonfuls of minced garlic...yep from the jar, lol
1/2 small Walla-Walla onion minced
several shakes of worcestershire sauce, depends on your tastes
a few squeezes of "Beaver Brand" Zesty Deli Hoseradish Sauce
several shakes of McCormick's Grillmates Lemon Pepper with herbs seasoning
several shakes of Original Blend Mrs. Dash seasoning
several shakes of dried basil
a few shakes of dried dill
and whatever else sounds good or tastes good usually a few shakes of Lousiana HOT sauce
WHISK IT ALL UP, TIL' IT'S LIQUID BUT A SEMI-THICK LIQUID, STICK YER FINGER IN IT AND TASTE IT A FEW TIMES...LOL AND ADD THIS n' THAT TIL IT TASTES LIKE THE BEAR WILL MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! THEN PUT YOUR BEAR OR VENISON IN A LARGE ZIPLOC BAG AND SPOON ENOUGH MARINADE TO GENEROUSLY COVER YOUR MEAT, ZIP IT AND PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE FOR A FEW HOURS SQUISHIN' THE BAG AND TURNIN' IT EVERY SO OFTEN. FIRE UP YER' GRILL AND GIT' TO GRILLING! MAKE SURE TO SAVE SOME OF THE MARNIADE TO BASTE AND FOR SANDWICHES THE NEXT DAY! N' DONT FORGET TO INVITE ME! LOL

THANKS WAPITI 1 I forgot to add that I use that marinade on alot of stuff and you can switch up the jam and try peach preserves or whatever sounds good...apple butter and white wine with cider vingar is GREAT on wild turkey! ;o) It's even good if you throw leftovers if you have them in the crockpot with it and some wild rice and brown rice and add some broth and a can of diced tomatoes, some carrots and makes a good stew the next day! HAVE FUN WITH IT
