Kansas Racks & Quacks November News Letter Hello from Kansas Racks & Quacks, we are all very excited here and can’t wait to spend more time in the woods. Kansas just got its first big cold front in and now it feels like hunting weather. Lately the trail cams have been catching some good pictures of future Kansas Racks & Quacks trophies. The state has sold all the 2008 state deer tags for this year. So if you do not have your tag you’re going to have to wait for the 2009 season. The state had so many tags for our units this year that all the people who applied got their tag. If you want to hunt whitetails in Kansas 2009 feel free to contact us and we can get you all set up to hunt with us. If you are interested in a Rio Turkey hunt this spring we still have some openings. Feel free to call or e-mail me and we can work out some dates. We have been catching some nice Toms on our trail cams and have been seeing them on our grain fields in the evenings while we have been scouting. In other news, our lodge is just about done!!! We are very excited to have a place for our hunters to stay and eat dinner. The lodge will be open for our spring Turkey hunters and the for the 2009 deer hunters. I have attached just a few trail cam pictures that we have gotten already this season. Also look for us on Buck Ventures TV and Inside Outdoors TV this season. We hope you all have a good season and keep us in mind if you need a place to hunt. Take care and I look forward to hearing from you.

Friends of Kansas Racks & Quacks, I hope this finds everyone having a wonderful summer and getting ready for next hunting season. The crew here at Kansas Racks & Quacks are hard at work getting little projects finished and have already began scouting. The wheat harvest is in full swing and the farmers have been seeing a lot of pheasants which is a great sign for the upcoming hunting season. The bucks have started to grow their head gear and we are very excited to see what they develop into. We have a few trail cams already out and will be putting the rest out in the near future. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks have begun to post the results from the drawings for tags. If you are not aware there will be no transferable tags this year in Kansas and you must have applied by June 2, 2008 to get a tag for this upcoming season. If you ever need a place to hunt whitetails, ducks, geese, upland or Rio turkeys feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail. On our website it says we only offer upland and waterfowl to hunters already in deer camp, but if you would like a custom hunt that does not include deer hunting just let me know and we can make it happen. You may view our website at www.huntingks.com. Thank you, Brandon Wilmoth Kansas Racks & Quacks Manager bwilmoth@huntingks.com 620-230-0929 www.huntingks.com

To whom it may concern: This year the state of Kansas has doubled almost tripled the amount of deer tags they will be giving out to out of state hunters. The state has taken away the transferable landowner tag so if you want to hunt in Kansas you must apply by June 2, 2008. If you click on our website below on the Deer hunting page there is a link to the state website with more information. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail or call me and I can help you out. My name is Brandon Wilmoth and I’m the manager of Kansas Racks & Quacks. Myself and my two partners, Andy and, Zach pride ourselves on the land we have and the quality of the game on it. We work hard so our hunters have the greatest chance of bringing home a Kansas trophy.
Kansas Racks & Quacks has some of the finest hunting in the state of Kansas. With over 4,000 acres of land consisting of river bottoms, timber, CRP, crop ground, and much more we have the land where the true trophies live. Just to give you an idea of what kind of trophies roam our parts. There were 5, 195-208 class deer shot in our county alone in 2007, one being just up river from us.
Below you will find the link to our website, at anytime you have any question you may contact me by e-mail or phone. The Units that we hunt in our 13, 15 &12 hope to see you in the outdoors with Kansas Racks & Quacks.
