So we are coming up with slogans to run in our ads for fathers day, in the process I decided to find out when our ‘Burly’ rubber hunting boot came out. I was thinking the early 90’s maybe older. I started checking the historic catalogs, first the mid 90’s: yep. Then the 80’s: still there. Maybe 76, our countries bicentennial year: I think I was getting close. 1973: New insulated pac! Finally.  
The search continued to the internet where I found the Burly Classic. As you can see not much has changed. The phrase “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” comes to mind. What are some of your favorite things, like our Burly rubber boots, that were made right the first time?

Hey Camospace, its Patrick here at LaCrosse Footwear, just wanted to give you a couple of updates. We finally got my desk put together, and put up the cubicle walls. I feel a little bitter sweet over the changes. On one side I have a place to work without bothering others. On the other hand I had a great view of Mt. Hood if I looked out the window to my left. Now I can only see the top, and it might get covered up by the new guy's computer and stuff. Anyway... We had our employee sample boot sale today and it went really well, I wish I was a mens size 10 cause there were a lot of cool boots and shoes that I would not mind owning. Good thing is the majority of the boots on sale today will be making it to the consumer market for everyone to buy which is always nice. The corrporate page is coming along, and should be done soon, so I will be transfering the blogging duties over to that profile soon enough. I have a lot of ideas for the page and for Camospace so be sure to add LaCrosse and Danner to your friends when we launch. Hello CamoSpace.com! Let me introduce myself, my name is Patrick and I am really excited to be here. I will be in charge of the LaCrosse footwear Inc. corporate pages until late August. Where are the LaCrosse and Danner pages you ask? Well, they are almost ready, but until then I will be getting used to CamoSpace on my own personal page. Expect to see many cool blog posts, a photo tour of our factory here in the US and many more exciting developments as time goes on.
