So, I've always wanted to use a game camera and I finally purchased one. It's a moultrie M40. Not top of the line, but I can't afford much more then that right now. Still I thought it would be a good camera.
I've had it out for about 2 weeks now. I've gotten gotten quite a few pictures and there are deer in most of them (at least I think so). A few of the pictures are very clear and crisp, both at night an during the day. However, most of the pictures are just all white or all black.
After the first round of pictures, I noticed that there was some limbs and vines in the way, possible triggering "blank" pictures, but I have cleared them out and it's gotten no better.
Also, I know that I have this camera facing into the setting sun (which I intened to adjsut this weekend) but the all white and/or all black pictures are showing up at all times of the day and night, not just when the sun is setting.
I was hoping you folks may have some tips for me. I'm really looking forward to getting nice pictures like I see all over this site, but to this point I only have a nice picture of a raccon.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Ryan
Hey folks....
I just posted this in the Bulliten Board section, but I am not sure if more people look at these blogs.
Anyway, if you already saw this, sorry. If not, then I'm glad that I put it here too...
Hey ya'll. I am very interested in trying to do some hunting in MD for whitetail this upcoming fall. I live in south central PA, but only about 15-20 miles from the MD border. The public land that I hunt here in PA has been getting worse and worse as each year passes and I would like to give MD a try.
Unfortunately, my scouting time is very limited with 3 kids ranging in age from 6 years to 3 weeks old. I was hoping any of you folks from MD would be able to give me some insight. Got any suggestions where I should focus my efforts?
I am not looking for anyone to give me directions to their hot-spots, or offer me some invite to hunt priviate land, although I'll gladly take you up on either or those

. But if you can help point me in the direction of some public land that I could check out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help!!
