Raffle……. Outdoor Children's Edventures is holding a fund raising raffle. We are currently selling raffle tickets to raise money for our upcoming events. Tickets are $2 each or 6 tickets for $10. Please help us help children. All proceeds from the ticket sale go 100% to the children with no money taken out to cover administrative cost. First Prize is a $250 Bass Pro Shop gift card, Second Prize is a New 12ga Pump Shot Gun ( Brand To Be Announced ), and Third Prize is Hunting and Fishing Gift Basket. January 11,2009……. Want a chance to be on TV hunting? Well here is your chance. All you have to do is email Brian at bhuffstickle@ocedventures.org and explain to him in an essay why you should be selected to go on a hunt with the OCE Staff. The OCE Staff will be selecting the top 10 best essays and posting them on our website to be seen by all. Everyone will be allowed to vote for their favorite essay with the winner receiving a chance to participate in a filmed hunt. This contest ends on June 1, 2009 and is subject to change without notice. This contest is only open to children between the ages of 2 and 17.

***On December 16th 2008 our family suffered a tragic but expected loss. James Huffstickle (AKA Dad) was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. While it has no doubt been one of the hardest weeks of our lives, we know that we still have a hard road ahead. In all of our heartache it is nice to know where our Dad is. While it does not make it any easier, we can find peace in knowing that he is no longer in pain. We can rest easy tonight knowing that at the time of our death he will be there to greet us.
***Everyone here at Outdoor Children’s Edventures would now like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our friends and family who have supported us during this hard time. We have received many wonderful emails packed with words of comfort and support. It’s hard to believe that one year ago I lost my grandfather who was very influential in my life. Not only did he teach me about hunting and the outdoors, he showed me how to give 110% to help others who were less fortunate than we are. Now one year later my dad is gone also. It just tears my heart into a million pieces to think about how much I miss them. This is by far a pain that I will live with the rest of my life.
***Out of all of the hurt I feel, I can honestly promise everybody one thing. I will see to it that Outdoor Children’s Edventures will always honor their legacy, not by putting a few words up on a website, but by always giving 110% to ensure that we help as many children as possible. Without my Dad and Grandfather, Outdoor Children's Edventures would have only been talked about. They will always be in my heart even if my heart longs for the day that we meet again.
***I can not find the words to truly thank everyone enough. It’s in our darkest times of loss and sorrow that we see how truly blessed we are to have such great friends.

Even in our darkest and saddest moments life continues on. While everyone here at Outdoor Children's Edventures are hurting for the loss of a loved one we must continue and press forward. My dad was very dear and loved by many so I know he would want us to keep our heads up and work to achieve our goals.
OCE is currently looking for both Pro Staff and Jr Pro Staff members. Jr Pro Staff members must be between the ages of 2 and 17. This is a 100% volunteer position and any individuals looking to join our team must share our common interest. It may take a few days to get back to you due to our loss of a family member however we will respond back to everyone as time permits. We are also looking for staff writers to join our team. Join us and help us to change the lives of children.

We are currently looking for kids between the ages of 2 and 17 to summit their pictures for our site. We are also looking for both children and adults to write and summit stories related to hunting, fishing, the outdoors as well as articles on safety and education in the outdoors. I would like to thank all of the Vendors and Outfitters who have posted comments and sent us messages offering to help with our charity. It's no secret CamoSpace is a great place to hang out and make great friends while promoting what you have to offer. I now have an offer for all of the vendors and outfitters on CamoSpace. We have managed to create a large following over the past six months since we started Outdoor Children’s Edventures. When our website goes online in just over 2 weeks we want our store to go online shortly there after. We are currently looking for vendors that will allow us to promote and sell their products in our store. We do have a few requirements that you must meet; however our biggest requirement is that your product must be available to be drop shipped. Vendors must also allow us pricing that will allow us to make a profit. There is no cost for the vendors associated with our store. As for the outfitters we would like to offer their services on our site also. There will be a small handling fee involved, however for the outfitters that are helping our charity our service to you is free. Thanks for showing interest in our charity and I truly hope that your companies will allow us to sell their products and promote your hunts. HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!!!!

Our website we be annouced as soon as it is 100% operational. *************************************************************************** ********** * * On January 1, 2009 Outdoor Children’s Edventures becomes official. Our New Years Eve party will not only be a celebration of the New Year, it will be a celebration of a charity that will change the lives of children all over the United States and hopefully one day the world! We are very excited about this opportunity. Outdoor Children’s Edventures is a 100% non-profit organization. Any donations received by OCE goes directly to the charity and the children in which it was created to benefit. At no time will anyone become a paid employee of OCE until it is impossible to operate without full time employees. All donations and financial information will be viewable by request at anytime and by anyone. * * In 2009 OCE will be offering Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Education classes to children of all ages, races, and social status at no cost to the child or the parent. Along with education classes we are currently working to set up hunts for children who are terminally ill, have lost a parent, sick (treatable), and children who have a parent serving on active duty overseas. All hunts will be filmed and produced into a 30 min show which will allow both that child and his/her parents to cherish their hunt forever. We will never ask to be compensated or reimbursed in anyway. We will never email anyone asking for money. If you receive any request for donations please contact us at our website and DO NOT send any money. * * * I would like to personally thank everyone for taking the time to view our site and I truly hope that our organization will inspire others to carry a child hunting or fishing.
