You all will be happy to know that Wyoming is short two mule deer bucks. Yesterday morning Darrell and I took out our long range pee shooters and let a couple nice bucks buy a ticket to Texas. It was a lot of fun. We were on seperate parts of the ranch, but had a very similiar morning. We both spotted the bucks from the truck and made a game plan to close the distance. Mine was a 4by5 and Darrell's a 3by3. We are burning up the road back to Texas for a couple days then we are off to pull the DZ-30s and Muzzys back out in Oklahoma. We have guest Scott Shultz of ScentBlocker and Chris Cain of Ol'Man Treestands joining us in our Oklahoma camp. It will be a good week. Talk to you soon. Jeff Ensor www.NonstopHunting.net

I finally got cell service and I'm happy to say Darrell and I both connected in Kansas. It's been a great week at Call of the Wild Outfitters in Stafford, KS. That sorry dog Darrell continues his hot streak by laying down an 11 point the first sit. Several days later I got a chance at a beautiful 10 point. It's a great feeling to see a Firenock disappear right behind the shoulder. We have two guest that are joining us this week, Chris Cain & John McNeill of Ol Man Treestands. Chris has seen and filmed two different Boone & Crocketts, but 70 yards is as close as they got. John passed on a nice 10 point on day two and had a close call last night with a shooter 8 that just did not work out. Tonights the last night, so hopefully it will all come together. Darrell and I are headed to Wyoming saturday to chase some Mule Deer. Talk to you soon, Jeff Ensor www.NonstopHunting.net

Darrell has connected with a Kansas 11 point. More details to come.
Just got back from a awesome hunt with John Roe out of Brookfield Missouri. John has a great place, hes got lots of timber and CRP along with corn and soybeans. Eveything you need to grow quality Whitetails!!!!! The first couple days we saw lots of deer and a couple real nice bucks, just couldnt get them in to bow range. About the 3rd morning we had a nice 10pt cruising by at about 75 yds, i gave him a snort weeze and he turned and came straight to us. I got drawn on him but we couldnt get the camera on him. Then the next evening we got set up on a bean field and about 30 min before dark a nice 8pt popped out with a couple does about 100yds from us. I gave him a couple grunts and a snort weeze and here he came. I had the Boss Buck decoy out and once he spotted the decoy it was on!!!! He came on in with ears back and hair standing ready for a fight. He got between me and the decoy and had about a 10 min stare down with the decoy. Once he turned broadside i had to let a arrow fly!!!! The Muzzy did its job, he ran about 70 yds and fell over!!!! It was a awesome hunt, watching him work that decoy was cool!!!! OH!!! And the reason Jeff has been grounded Is because of poor planning!!! LOL!!! Darrell
Darrell made a great shot on this Missouri buck...
Just got a call last night from Big Darrell and he has taken his first Missouri buck. That gives Darrell four success stories to my ONE! That's all right...I'm fixing to get busy. I have actually been grounded to Hamilton County the entire month of Oct. for the birth of my second daughter, who decided to finally come on 10/22. Needless to say, family is first and now that my daughter is here my wife gave me the green light to start hunting again! Darrell was hunting with good friend John Roe, 660-258-5629, who has a great piece of property and lots of game. John just takes 8 hunters a year and does exclusively bowhunting. His place is located near Brookfield, MO. His prices are very affordable so give him a call! Darrell is headed back to Texas and promises to give you all the details of his successful hunt.
The Muzzy found its mark again!!! Jeff and I went out this morning to the family farm here in Hamilton Tx. I bet we saw 10 diffrent bucks this morning. About a hour after good light we had a encounter with a shooter 8pt, but he never gave us a shot. Then about a hr later he showed back up, and this time we got a shot!!!!! We made a good shot and he went about 100yds and that was it. After we recovered him, and getting a good look at him. Im pretty sure this is the same buck i missed last year out of the same tree!!!! Well the Pressure is on jeff now!!!! Good luck to all and be safe!!!! Darrell

It's been a busy month. I'm sitting at the airport in Spokane, WA waiting on a flight to take me home to my very pregnant wife. Montana was action packed. We were within 100 yards of bulls 5 out of the 6 days, however, we were unable to close the deal. Bugling Bob worked his tail off for us and was more dissappointed than I was that we didn't get a bull. Bob is an amazing person with passion towards elk hunting like I have never seen. I was hunting with Elk Creek Outfitting ( www.elkcreekoutfitting.com) and out of 10 hunters there was like 8 to 10 shots fired...believe it or not only 3 found there mark (two 6x6s & one cow). I don't know why the kill zone of a big bugling bull is so hard to hit, but I'm hear to tell you it is. I talked with Darrell this morning and sounded like he had a great South Dakota Antelope hunt. He got him another P&Y goat. I hate to say that Darrell has pulled ahead of me on the whacking of game, but don't count me out...whitetail season is getting cranked up!
Well the Muzzy found its mark again. Just got back from South Dakota and on the first morning we were covered up in goats!!!! The 6th buck that came in to water was a shooter so i had to let a arrow fly. I made a perfect shot and the Prongy went about 75 yds and fell over. Dale Matthews with Iron Mountain Adventures set this hunt up for us. We hunted with Todd Larson who owns Crow Creek Archery Antelope in South Dakota right there on the Wyoming border. Now its time to get after the deer at home here in Tx. Good luck to all and be safe!!!!!
Muzzy found it's mark, nice 4x4 New Mexico Bull....more details to come
I cannot tell you how excited I am to tell you that me and my brother are completely worn out from having to pack out a beautiful 6x6 bull yesterday. What an amazing hunt I had in Colorado this year. We had multible encounters, including getting within 65 yards of 350" bull that almost gave me a shot (his cows winded us). My brother filmed me the last couple of days and we hunted hard, and to have it all come together on the last morning will definitely make this trip one of my best hunting trips ever! I'll post pictures on our website and Facebook page in the next day or two. We r headed back to texas as I'm writing this for a couple days break (I've been hunting elk 10 days straight). I head to Montana Fri to Elk Creek Outfitters to finish up my Elk run. Talk to you soon... I still have not heard from Darrell on his NM elk hunt.

Just got thru hunting in Wyoming with Grizzly Peak Outfitters and had a blast. I had three bulls within 30 yards throughout the week, but never could get a clear shot. Out of four hunters we had over 10 shooter bulls within 50 yards. There were two of the four had two shots a piece, but unfortunatly the arrows missed there mark. It's amazing what a screaming bull does to a hunters mind. I'm now headed to Colorado for a few days. Darrell started his elk hunt n NM, however he is out of service and I have not heard from him.
Darrell is headed out to New Mexico today to meet up with Daric Knight with www.knightguidingandoutfitting.com, to chase Elk and to hopefully get one on the ground before Jeff does.
Headed out this afternoon on a Wyoming, Colorado, & Montana Elk run. I'm hoping to put my DZ-30 Bow & Muzzy Broadheads to good use!
Just came off the mountain where I've been chasing elk & mulies. Unfortately I don't have horns or meat in the back of the truck. I bet we saw 20 to 30 bulls and 10 to 12 shooter bucks. It was amazing. We just could not get a shooter bull in bow range. I bet we had 12 to 15 shooter bulls within 75 yards over the last 4 days. Bugling Bob called in 7 small bulls to within 50 yards, but the big boys always seem to stay out a little to far I'm looking forward to going back in 3 weeks when the rut picks up. Next trip is Wyoming elk...sept 11
