Did you have any luck at LBL?

Things were kinda slow, Chris shot a button, thought it was a doe. I shot a doe on the same ridge that I shot the buck last year and we ended up loseing the trail in the same holler. Glenn past a 3point and then didn't get another chance. We seen a really good buck, set up on him but no good. Ask Al about it he can fill you guys in on where it was. Curry and Racetrack both are Beans, but Curry is all dried up. Didn't see many deer on the Trace at all. Later...

I will see him tonight. It will probably either rain or be 90 when we go.

Good luck, I hope you guys do some good. Are you hunting were you did last year? You might have some better luck if they still have some food out in the fields. I would say that lbl is loaded with acorns.

Thanks,I'm putting a stand back on the ridge where I shot the buck last year, and another stand across the field by a pond. Were thinking since the fields had corn last year they will be soybeans this time. You're probably right about the acorns, I hope they're falling all over that ridge. Later..

We're headed to LBL this weekend, not looking forward to going this early. I hate that it got all busted up this year, hopefully next year we can get it back on track. I'll let you guys know what they have planted in the hollers'.

Nice bear! What did he weigh? Did you go out yesterday any? I hunted the Resovior, seen lots of turkeys a couple does and had a tall basket racked 8 at 20 yards. Had another basket rack 10 crossing the creek coming towards me, but he heard me talking on the phone!
