Western Iowa is every bit as good as Pike County. Compare B&C stats between Pike Illinois and Monona Iowa and they run neck and neck. Thousands of public acres in western Iowa's Loess Hills between Monona and Harrison Counties. I spend time all over the Midwest and I think the biggest whitetail secret in the world is Monona County Iowa.
Hey Thanks I will look into it. Maybe if I apply for tags this year I will actually get tags when I am ready to hunt.
Yep gotcha thats exactly what it looks like..... Hadley Creek is in Pike and Adams Counties and it is the exact terrain that exists in western Iowa along the Missouri River. Heck of a nice deer too! Stacey and Michelle know how to grow them out there at Hadley Creek.
Ya they do. I have been to Illinois several times with different outfitters they are by far the best at what they do. Love to go back. But just getting real pricey. I actually want to go out to Iowa some day. If you have any inside tips as to wear to go that would be great.
Thanks for the ad. Where was that deer in your profile photo taken? I'm going to guess 2 places. Western Illinois along the Mississippi River delta in the Loess Hills (Pike County) or in western Iowa along the Missouri River delta in the Loess Hills (Monona County)? The scenery looks exactly like both of those places.
It's funny you would notice that. If you look on Hadley Creek's website in 07 you will see that picture. I could not tell you where we were except there were cell towers up on this lookout over looking farm land & the Mississippi.
No bro. They didnt seem very interested in working with us. There is a big show in NC that I will be at. They offered to hang my big banner and help me get a camospace card in everybodys hand and a few other things. So I will be in NC. Hopefully I will be able to make it out there next year!
Thanks for the add Jason. Your are sure living a dream. I have started working to build a career in land management and I dream to be where you are someday. I would love to have a few minutes of your time to get advice and knowledge from you sometime. Stay in touch and take care,
