They have plowed the patches and have planted clover and rye. The stand I sat in needed work to get a view to shoot left or right. I made some holes. Uncle 'Bur said no one had hunted there since the season came in!

Went to Robertville this evening with gdaddy. I let a small rack six walk all around me. Also saw a huge doe late. Gdaddy saw her as well but did not shoot.

Hows it going? Any time in the woods? My son got chosen for a youth hunt up on the north end of Lake Moultrie 21st of Nov. Thats the only sure hunt for the season.

Nothing yet. Have not had the chance to hunt with my son. I filled out all the SC DNR youth hunts apps. and have gotten 2 "sorry you were not chosen" letters so far. I am sure the rest will be rejected as well since he got so many chances last season. I may take him to the Clinton House Plantation for a hunt. They charge $175.00 for a day (2 hunts) and its not too far from home. How about you? How's your season going?
