Hello I just read your intro and it's really heavy but its true my son and I hate the hog hunters that run Dogs and the use a knife to kill it. We hunt pigs out here in California and we wont even take a shot unless we know that one shot will kill it. I was in the Army as well 82nd Airborne 68 to 70 a Nam vet hey thank you for serving for us to help keep us free.

I see you like that Bear Bow. Glad your happy with it. We were threatened by rain, and lighting, and only got drizzle with hard wind, and lighting. We are a fire hazard down here. A couple of arcres near my lease burned the other day. I going go check my game cams next week, to see, If they caught the fire. Lol. We need the rain down here.
I haven't shot the alphamax but if it's better than my new superhawk, then it would be well worth the cost, cos I thought my lasertec was a smooth shooting bow til I started to fiddle around with the superhawk, and found it's hitting harder at half the power as my before mentioned lasertec, after turkey season, I'll raise the poundage and really see what it can do, don't get me wrong, my very first bow was a bear, little black bear cub (recurve)I still have it,
but after my first compound (darton sl 50) died I switched to Hoyt, and haven't looked back.
