In loving memory of my son Brandon Joe &nb sp; 7-8-82 / 3-8-99 &nb sp; &nb sp;
&nb sp; Remembering: Go ahead and mention my son, the one that died you know Don't worrie about hurting me further, the depth of my pain doesnt show,
Dont worry about making me cry, Im already crying on the inside, help me to heal by releasing the tears I try to hide.
Im hurt when you just remain silent, pretending he didnt exist, Id rather you mention my son, knowing he is missed.
You ask me how Im doing and I say pretty good or fine, But healing is something ongoing, it will take a lifetime. &nb sp; &nb sp; Elizabeth Dent
If youve read this I want to thank you sincerely,, Brandon Joe was a wonderful person, and the best son a father could ever ask for. He had bone cancer, when his leg broke playing football, we took him to the doctor and thats when they informed his mother and I that we would have the weekend to prepare our son for an immediate amputation of his left leg, above the knee. I took him to Texoma Lake to camp out, and thats where I broke the news to him. He handled it like a champ!!! I was never more proud of him than on that fateful day. He battled the cancer for the next four years, and finally gave up his coreagous fight on March 8, 1999. Brandon, I miss you so much....Ill see you soon! Love Dad
