hello mr. shu. i love ur pics of axis lol. i was just up in sonora at the black ranch hunting 4 axis. didn get any. we were driving back 2 camp after the fri. morning hunt and jump up a big boy. me and steve went 2 stalk it and the last time we went out there, my dad was i the car and the axis stood right in front of him in the rode and gave him a cleen shot. he didnt shoot it and the exact same thing happened then. it had 2 be 35in. he jumped the fence 2 the other paster and disapered in the brush. that was the last time we saw the axis. thats were i got my doe lol well enough about me. how r u?
Old is right, with the way I feel right now! Work, work, and more work. Is it Turkey Season yet?? I shot a really nice Buck the other night.......waited till the morning to track, had 2 blood dogs..........no deer. We followed Blood for about a mile and half.........and it stopped. I am just sick about it, the only day I have got to hunt the whole season, and that happens......just not my year this year. I have hunters right now, but I will try and give you a call tommorow, looking like November might be our only chance. I have had a shoot load of last minute bookings. Going to bed.....I'm wore out. Damn Brother.....as you well know, I feel your pain on that this year....I spent the last month scouting out a real nice bear...had him coming to a spring every day, had EVERYTHING lined up to go deflate him this weekend....and as soon as I got off on Thursday it started raining and has not stopped...can you believe that? Hasn't rained here since our Lope hunt ended.....We both need to do something to change out luck!
November should be good - I have my Coues hunt in Arizona the 7th through the 13th, but should be done early there, I am hoping by the 11th at the latest...it is only 2.5 hours from here to where I am hunting in AZ - so you say when and I am all over it!
We will get our ships "righted"...if not before, for sure when I get there...I'll bring the bag of bones and we will shake them damn things until things start going right!

Hey brother, thanks for the add...I have a placed leased not too far from you up there in Kerr county...I will spend a good bit of October up there, you are a lucky man to be in the situation to live there and work the land... That's truly God's country... Good luck with it all this fall.
