My father lives in Newport...his house sits on the side of a big hill overlooking Lake Memphregog which shares land with VT and Canada...he is literally on the border....not far from Jay Peak...

I hunted the Randolph area a few years back...got a spike...an old friend that's hunted there for years has taken many a deer in that area...my dad's area is supposed to be good...

Best of luck in the VT woods!!! Lots of deer to be had...I took a nice one there some years ago...
