Well I'm a simple kinda guy that just loves life, and I try to live it to the fullest. Hunting and fishing has always been a passion of mine. I started at such a young age, I don't remember exactly, when it wasn't a part of my life. I was blessed with a job that has afforded me opportunities to hunt and fish in some of the same places I work. So I guess basicly, I,ve spent my life in the outdoors. I've been married forever to my beautiful wife Cindy, and we have two grown boys.(men) I'm a Vietnam veteran and have worked most of my adult life as a Ranger, Wildland Firefighter, and Investigator for the Arkansas Forestry Commission. I worked on felony cases such as woods or forest arson, timber theft, logging equipment theft and vandalism, and other forest related crimes. I also worked western fire details for the US Forest Service. I am now retired, as of Jan. 31st 2009, with 32 years of service, but I will continue to do some "fire cause and origin" investigations, and other temporary assignments for the US Forest Service, on a as-needed basis.
