Have not had a chance to make it out yet . This weekend will probably be the first time i get to make it out. I have access to 700 acres of private land so hopefully they will still be responding and vocal.

Hey bud, things have been a bit crazy around here. I'm not doing anything in particular, it just seems like I'm being pulled in 10 different directions doing absolutely nothing.
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)

...It is actually a youth bow...they set it to my draw length, and to 46 lbs...
a Bowtech Diamond....and I couldn't believe how comfortable and accurate it shot....end it doesn't have any pins on it, yet! -yes, happy girl!!

They sure seem to be. Me and my nephew went out today and it snowed like crazy on us this morning...April and snow...must be Global warming :) We didnt get one but worked several birds..waiting on the regular season now, then back after them!
Man it's been going slow...
Opening day I had 3 mature birds closing the distance to me when 2 other guys bumped them walking my way and talking... I just got in from a evening hunt. I was working 2 mature birds when a heck of a strom hit. Yep! I got soaked...
But season is still early yet and figure my luck will change soon...
But I'm still havin' fun...
