I am 38 years old married to a great lady (Tammie) and have 3 kids, a 15 year old daughter (Kayla), 13 year old son (Jesse)and an 8 year old son (Logan) I like to Hunt Upland birds (mostly pheasants) and fish although the hunting mode has slowed way down. I am very busy with my Taxidermy business, Buck's Pro Mount Taxidermy. I have been doing taxidermy for 25 years and have competing in taxidermy competitions for the last 10 years. Feel free to check out my website at http://www.buckspromounttaxidermy.com I also want to hunt more on my 73 acres I bought last year in Southern Indiana. Maybe this will be the year.

I am looking at a Missions(by Matthews) Journey bow ......have you heard or know anything about this bow.......If so I would love to know more....Thanks
P.S. Sign my guestbook when you can.
Do you use trail cameras to see what's in your area...if so do you have any tips on placement??
My friend has one on my farm and he has it placed near a deer trail and has a feed set up. The camera overlooks his feeder. I do not have one yet but plan on getting one soon. I would reccommend it near an active trail where you might put a stand.
Thanks for the tips.....I really appreciate it....Good luck this season....and Shoot Em Straight!!
Well you know im going to say get a mathews of course but if you dont want to spend the money right out the gate then look at the mission archery line it is made by mathews but more afordable! diamond ok but remember you get what you pay for so find something in a mid range $ but fits them each ! go to a mom and pop archery shop and have them set one up off the self sights rest, release the whole works have them shoot it and set the sights so they group with it ! the store will d it everytime cause there there to sell bows and thats what it takes they will know(the girls) if the like it or not in the first hour if its dialed in to them they will have a great experience and you will get the greatest return!

Hey Brackett,
Question for you about bows. My wife and my daughter both want to get into archery but I do not want to spend a fortune in case they do not stick with it. We have been looking at the Bowtech Diamond. What do ya think? would that be a decent bow? I myself have a Browning I have had for years.
No been slow so far this year but just doing what I have to first week of moose season open on Monday so should get some work next week
