Turkey season has ended here too. Had a lot to do when I got home last night so didn't get a chance to forward the pic to my work computer. Will try again tonight. The plant where I work is shut down right now so things will be busy for the next day or two. I'll still try to stay in touch as much as I can. Thanks for keeping me in the loop. Talk to ya later.

Yeah the boyfriend was polite. And I will keep you posted. We took a picture of the two together at the movie. I'll try to remember to post it tomorrow.

Thanks for your insight on the teen daughter scene. Got to meet the "boyfriend" last night...brought them to a movie. First impression.....he seems to be okay, for now. Will keep you posted on his status with me. Hope your week at school goes well.

Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.

Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)

My daughter will be 14 in July. I met her first little boyfriend, and thought he was an odd match for her. She's real outgoing and he seemed scared of his own shadow. This latest one I haven't met yet but he has been in trouble by association with another parent friend of mine. He was hangin with a guy that sent a less than tasteful text message to his daughter. This particular fella claims he didn't know it was being done. He'll get a grillin the first time I meet him. I'm a pretty good judge of character. The way I explain it to my wife and daughter is that I was 14 once too and I know what is on those little boys' minds at that age and they better not try me. Sorry for being long winded.

Any advice from a teenagers point of view would be appreciated.

You'll have to excuse me if I'm a little nosy....my daughter has just started this dating thing and it's a whole lot different than when I was out there. I'm a little worried about my little girl growing up.
