I don't listen to music much any more but I do like music. Blues, Bluegrass, acoustic guitar, rock, R & B, classical. I sometimes just like silence. I can sit in the woods and just listen to nature. The wind, frogs, birds, the rustling of a field mouse in the litter of the forest are all sounds I appreciate like many people do not.

My reading interests are very wide. I like murder mystery, history, gun related and outdoor articles. I subscribe to a number of conservation magazines like the Minnesota Conservation Volunteer. I receive American Hunter with my NRA membership and really like the "Armed Citzen" stories. I am a member of the Minnesota Historical Society and enjoy reading about Minnesota and World History.

My interests primarily revolve around hunting and fishing but I also like movies, cooking and gardening. Photography is another hobby that I enjoy. I am a member of a number of hunting organizations that help disabled hunters get out the in field. I am also a member of the NRA.

CSI, LOST, NCIS. I watch the History Channel, Discovery Channel, and of course, all the Outdoor Channels. I love TIVO! Recordings for a rainey day!!!

I guess I don't really know who my heroes are. I look up to God and thank him every day for allowing me to survive. I thank him for my family. I thank my mother for raising my little smart ass!

I look up to my father for teaching me about the difficulties of life. He taught me how to survive at all costs. He taught me a great deal about the woods and nature and passed on the passion of the outdoors.

Someday I hope to look up to my children as they become adults and raise their own families. We have good kids. I pray we can get them safely to adulthood.

Spooky2 Crappie fishing sucked this past weekend! Bad weather.

I'm 50 years young. I have been disabled for 20 years after falling while working construction. The fall left me parylzed from the mid chest down. Being disabled has not stopped me from enjoying the outdoors. I have managed to meet a good number of great people who have helped me get to the places I need to go. While I will admit that I can't always get to the spots I'd like to I never the less get as far into the bush as I can! I have had good success over the years and hope to continue hunting and fishing as long as physically possible. Attitude is everything!

I have a saying: Your only old 10 minutes before you die!

Portable Hunting Camp.Plans for a portable, solid-wall structure. That keeps you warm and dry when youre in the outdoors. Built on a trailer - can go anywhere a pick-up or Suv can.

Nice! What's a crossbow fishing for alligator trip cost?
$1500 for one gator up to 9 feet and $500 fee for every foot over 9. Or you can buy your own non res tags for $1000 (that gives you 2) and charter me out for $650 a night and no trophy fees.

Yeah nodoubt they're a messy bird. I also hunt over in South Dakota at the Siseton Indian Reservation for turkey. They have a real problem with the birds and cattle. In the winter the birds roost in the cattle barns and then poop from there roosts onto the hay that the cattle eat. Needless to say the cattle get sick. The birds also dig into the rolled bales of hay and destoy the bales as feed for the cattle. They can be quite a nuisance. The ranchers don't like them. I had one rancher tell me to shoot as many as I can. Of course we can't do that but......you can shoot hens!

yea they can make a mess, i truly hate them.

Thanks for the add. It's really nice day here in Southern Mn today. Went to Cabelas this morning to spend more money. Every year, same thing, buy new and more turkey calls. Blah, Blah, Blah. Do you turkey hunt? That season is right around the corner. 19 days and counting!

Ive been to the cabelas in MN, love that place yours is bigger than ours, for sure. Thought they would keep the stores the same, but nope...I had to go to Northfield on business, then went to the mall of america and coming back on the highway seen the sign cabelas, well I was all over it...lol..You kinda blew me away when you said it, lol...Yes I hunt for them on occasion, I see flocks everyday so they dont excite me too much, kinda a pain, poopin all over the place here...
