INTERESTS
I love being with friends, a good cup of coffee, a rocking chair, on the porch with a friend, could it be any better? I am a life NRA member, life member of North American Hunting Club, member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. A die-hard bow hunter, like to reload my own ammo. And elk hunting out west. I love to watch the sunrise after climbing to the top of a mountain. I enjoy road bicycleing with my sons.

HEROES
Being in competitive cycling, Lance Armstrong is a hero who I aspire to be like. Pain is only temporary, quiting is forever. Both of my grandfathers would fall in the hall of heros for me, both are gone now, but not the examples they left. You only realize how precious something is when its gone. I will miss them both and their input in my life. I remember the phrase, "son you are going to have to get old before you get smart", I've been proveing him right ever since. And my Lord Jesus, but He is more then just a hero.

ABOUT ME
I live in middle Tenn. and am married too the most wonderful wife now for 19 years. I have five wonderful children one daughter and four sons. My greatest joy in life is my family and spending time with them. I have owned my business for close to 17 years now, we build portable buildings and cabins. Look us up at www.martinminibarns.com. My love for God is what has truly taught me to love my family. Life has had many ups and downs, but I believe He has planned it all for my good and to make a better man of me.
How have things been? I have to see patients so my elk season is over. No luck this yr w/ the bulls. I had a pretty good yr though. A pronghorn buck and a pretty nice muledeer buck, so I am not complaining. Not to mention I have a good time elk hunting even if I come home w/ my tag not filled. Take Care and let me know if you are coming out this way next yr. It will be here fast.
Hey Mr. Randy, How is life treating you this days? Have you been expressing any carbon shafts yet? Smoke pole season is coming in this weekend here, it is also about when the rut kicks in to. But I will hold on to my bow for awhile yet. Let know how its been going, Lord Bless.
Hey brother! Yep..I got me a decent 8 pointer just over 2 weeks ago COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR CLOSER SHOT...he only went a few yards after impact and got my first taste of harvest of this young season; however, so far I haven't been able to retreive a NICE buck I released on Friday evening (in the pouring down rain). Mother Nature left me no help/assistance whatsoever but we did manage to find my arrow Saturday morning about 30 yds from the point of impact. This buck was in pursuit of a doe and I honestly have no idea if I hit him good enough or not. I have lost meat before so this isn't my first taste of the negative but my gut is telling me that deer is lying out there somewhere and now I'm simply trying to accept that I could just as easily not find him as the possibility that I could. At any rate, God has been plenty good to me with my previous harvests and I just hope I will live like it if don't find this bruiser. Thanks for the "hollar" and good luck brother. Will let you know of any future success I might grab. God Bless!!!
Well as of yet I have not even got into the woods, I am finishing a couple of major projects. When these are out of the way then I can focus on putting some meat in the freezer. How about you mate? Have you been slinging arrows about? I hope your season is going well. Keep in touch.
yer pretty good though it is coming to an end. this has been my best year so far so some really good game on the ground. Buy Christmas our hunting year will be over. Hopefully a few more boars, another buffalo and a axis deer will be addd to the list.
good luck mate and keep me posted!
hey man it was nice meetin you the other day now i no who you are when i c u on here lol good luck this season
Hey Thanks, It was a pleasure to meet you as well. We will have to keep each other updated on how the season goes. May the Lord bless you this season as well my friend.
Hey, hey, Ms Paula, How are you doing this evening? Lots of rain down south here today. It was amazeing to see deer out in the fields around home here today. The rain had them moveing.
Howdy. You've got to love when that weather starts to change. Anything can happen. Did you see any monsters? Its been cooler here the last two days too, definitely helping the numbers.
No just lots of does and yearlings, guess the big boys did not want to come out to play. If it is getting cooler that means the elk will be on the move.
They are definitely seeing more this week than the last two. Time for the arrows to start flying!
I will be waiting to hear how you do. I hope you have a great evening but the clock just struck 11 and I am off to bed. Have a great night. Catch up to you later
