Season is getting closer for us. I have been seeing a few big boys. Its going to be a great time around this area.
Hey Man. me too! Saw one nice bird friday about 75 yds from where I killed last years! I have opening day to go then I can't go for a week, but will have the rest of the month to try. Can't wait!
Thanks raven... I shot him at 6:30, opening day of my season, which was Saturday morning. He came in spitting and drumming in a full strut. It was awesome!!
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
Some we still have someplaces in the woods that there is 2 feet. but we are getting some bare spots in the woods also. It will be gone before long. But my brother who lives 200 miles north still has 3 to 4 feet on the ground every where so I feel luck were I live
