Thanks and glad to have you on my list. I, also, am trying to get a TV show started. I write a monthly column entitled America's Frugal Sportsman. I show folks how to enjoy the outdoors without spending a lot of money. The Sportsman Channel has approved the concept. Now I need to come up with funding to produce a pilot then approach the adveritsers. Let's face it better than 90% of hunters and fishermen watching the TV shows cannot afford many of the sponsor products. I admire what you are doing.
Thanks, good luck. The show I was with is on The Sportsman Channel and like all things it is a business. The sponsors can be challenging. You will do a lot of dialing for dollars. The best spot to talk with Sponsors is the ATA show. As you stated, the average hunter does not have the ability to call up a Rifle Manufacture and say send me a couple of the new rifles and have a scope manufacture do the same etc. We are looking to be able to review equipment and show that you can hunt without $9000 for a South Texas Whitetail or $15k for a sheep hunt.
