how old do you consider a buck to be a shooter?

Don't know. I've never asked one how old he was before shooting him . . .

LMFAOI SMARTAZZ...what makes a buck a shooter to you?

My mood. His size. Time of season. Just depends.

The 8 I passed up on Sunday would have died had he pulled that mistake in late December/early January.

score wise how was he?

Yo Hooked on Phonics, I DID NOT shoot him. Therefore, I also DID NOT measure him. Thanks.
a guesstimate DINK...cant you field judge a buck

Great photos. You like the Sitka Gear?

I loved the Sitka gear. The pattern was well in the high terrain but not so good in the wooded. Very technical for all weather conditions. Only sad the gloves are not waterproof. So good I shared the rain gear with my guide! Layers worked well when crossing the ridges from sun to shade and especially climbing to glassing transitions. BTW - boots were Kennetrek, and I couldn't have done it without them. They're a must!
