season went by fast but we tore them up! Suthern Illinois and southern Indiana proved to be the best hunting around this year. The rivers stayed flooded and we we able to hunt in the flooded corn and milo fields. it was also good for all kinds of geese as well. Ohio was mostly just honks it was fun though!

Thanks for the friend request! I'm planning *hopefully* a hunt or two in Canada this year. I've never been there. How was your season?

Thanks for the add! Never been to Canada eh? I'm sure you'd like it, I have quite a few pics in my gallery of this area. I'd imagine the landscape is a lot different than where you are. I'm actually heading to Saskatchewan this weekend for a job interview which is fairly close to you. Might be moving out there soon! My season was good, shot lots of grouse and ducks. Not too much luck on the deer, only thing I shot was a fawn that was wounded by another hunter. Oh well, better than nothing I guess!

Glad to hear you canceled some flights. I had my share of good luck this season as well. I only missed hunting 2 weekends of the entire season! That's why I take most fall semesters off of college- otherwise I'd pay for classes that I wouldn't be going to because of hunting.

Well, they're going cheap now with the way the market is. I picked up a registered paint filly (yearling) for $850. They'd been asking $1350. She's a really pretty paint. Good luck in your search for a new horse.

Thank you.

Thanks for the add!! I know- where is this snow coming from? I'm sure the snow geese are really confused now. I was snowed in today. Got stuck in the driveway, so to heck with school and work! It is great to meet fellow waterfowlers- especially in SD! Hope to hear from you soon. We'll have to hunt together sometime.
that would be great. i have a daughter who will be 12 this year, and she is going to hunt. it would be great to have someone along who could show her that hunting isnt just a "man sport". this is hopefully going to be a great year of "firsts" for her-first duck, pheasent, deer, etc. are you gonna turkey hunt? i cant wait. snows are about gone here, had a bad snow goose season, only got a few. nice to meet ya, write back, and ill check this thing a little more often.
