Just stoppin by to see if you had been chasing any deer. I took a small doe on opening day. She was good on the grill. I think we'll put some in the smoker this weekend.
dang man!.........that hole is huge! yeah i shot muzzy 3 blade 100 grain with my 60 pound 280 fps parker..........they don't tear a very big hole, but they get the job done............the only thing i don't like about them is that both of the deer i have killed this year went a pretty good ways, and both shots took out both lungs........the doe went about 175 yards and the buck went about 200 yards! i'am worried that if i make a bad shot, one may go, and go and go!
congrads on the deer..i got to look at two does this morning at about 100 yards.thought i was in the right place, but thats why its called hunting, and not killing.monday will be better......i hope.
yeah its gonna fill weird this year not to get my 30-30 out come november!....lol! my dad is a hardcore rifle and muzzeloader hunter, he isn't much of ashot with a bow.....and that is how he taught me to hunt, but then i wanted to try bowhunting because i have killed abunch of deer with a rifle, and that was last year and all i had was a old bow that belong to my dad, and it was only 45 pound pull. and i missed a button-buck last year with it.............so i saved up over the winter and bought my parker in about march of this year.........and now i'am gonna go to nothing but bow hunting!
thanks!.........yeah i already got that buck and a doe........and i'am gonna try to go ahead and fill both of my bonus doe tags also........how many more deer are you aloud in your state?
