gun season closed here in kentucky about 3 weeks ago, and like you said its hard to get them in range right now, but they are starting to come in and feed again. i'am still stuck on that little buck and that doe with my bow this season..........bow season closes on jan. 19th

I must have read that book 5 times when I was a kid.And no I havent tried the stump trick but I hae used an egg trap which works kind of the same way. Do you bow hunt year round?
