I watched three bucks on several occasions come in and out of this thicket. There are fields bordering three sides of it and hardwoods on the fourth. The deer would only hit the fields in the evening, so I new they were either staying in it during the morning or going to edge of the woods for acorns. So I hung my stand on the edge knowing my wind would blow right at them. But took all the scent precautions I could....ended up arrowing that buck at 13 yards in my wind!He was right on the edge eating acorns.
