oh well,
you will get one, you have all week. I am from way up north of Maine, and it was get one or wait until next year,

I shot mine about 12 yards away.

This big tom was mesiing with us. it was a very smart bird.

If we could have called this tom about 10 more yards i would have had him!

It sure was!

I was a little nervous because there was a big tom that wouldnt come into range. and out of no where came two jakes, and I layed him right out!

Hey Tyler! I saw you and your Dad in your yard today about 11:45 AM, how did you make out? I bought two Panasonic PV-GS80's, a very basic camera, but small and 32x zoom, seems to work pretty good. The boy I took out today got a Jake, he was happy!

Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.

Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
