So, are you making plans for some Salmon fishing trips on your boat for later this month? Doesn't Lake Trout not open till May 1st? Is there still any ice on the big lake and/or stacked up on the beaches? I remember one year when there were still huge slabs of ice up on the beaches in late April...

Yep. I'd "like to" get out after the birds—but as usual—been too busy to even think of applying, and even if I had, likely wouldn't find the time to get to the farm anyway, LOL.
Got some rain the last few days but things are good. Turkeys didnt cooperate yesterday but hopefull the PIL will put me on one this weekend or the next. I will actually be OFF on the weekends!
